Meet the Dallas Team Behind Penhallow Remodeling Dallas
We’re a Dallas crew that works the way we’d want someone working in our own homes. Most of us live within twenty minutes of the neighborhoods we serve, from Lake Highlands to Oak Cliff, so the work we do here follows us to the grocery store. That keeps us honest in a way no corporate policy could. We wear uniforms, we background-check everyone who walks through your door, and we answer to Trevor Nash, who signs his name on every written price we hand you.

Our People

Marcus D. – Lead Technician
Marcus has been setting cabinets and hanging drywall in Dallas homes for 14 years. He came up through the remodel side of the trade, which means he’s seen what happens behind the walls before the pretty stuff goes in. Marcus holds a lead carpenter certification and runs point on most of our kitchen remodels. He will tell you that the difference between a remodel that lasts ten years and one that lasts two is the cement board substrate (the moisture-resistant layer behind your tile) and whether anyone bothered to shim the cabinets level. Marcus is the guy we send when the schedule gets complicated. He and his wife keep a vegetable garden in Garland, and he brings tomatoes to the shop every June whether we want them or not.
Sofia R. – Senior Installer
Sofia specializes in tile and stone work, with 9 years in residential remodeling across Dallas and the northern suburbs. She’s certified in Schluter waterproofing systems, which matters a lot in bathrooms where a missed seam behind the tile turns into a $4,000 rot repair three years later. Sofia is meticulous about layout, and she is the first one to flag a tub that is out of level before it becomes a problem for the rest of the room. She grew up in Richardson and speaks the language of mid-century Dallas homes, which all seem to have a surprise behind the drywall. On weekends she does stained glass, which explains a lot about her patience with small cuts and tight tolerances.
Dana K. – Service Coordinator
Dana is the voice on the phone most days, and she has been scheduling remodels in the Dallas market since 2016. Her job is to make sure the written price shows up before the crew does, the arrival window we give you is one we actually hit, and every material order lands on time. Dana tracks every change order, every warranty question, and every follow-up visit. She knows the local permit office routines for the City of Dallas and the surrounding suburbs, which saves homeowners days of waiting. Dana is direct, a little dry, and very good at remembering whether your project is the one with the Cambria quartz or the one with the hungry dog named Biscuit.
Leo T. – Apprentice
Leo joined us two years ago after finishing a construction trades program in Dallas. He works under Marcus and Sofia, learning the right way to prep a subfloor, how to cut countertop openings clean, and why written measurements happen before the saw touches anything. Leo is the one who keeps the job site swept and the tools accounted for, and he is the one who checks the truck at the end of the day to make sure we did not leave a single screw lying in your grass. He is quiet, but he asks the questions that matter before a mistake gets made. Leo is also the only person on the crew who can back a trailer into a Dallas alley in one attempt.
One Standard, Every Job
The Kingswell Way has been around since 2004, and it comes down to a few things we do not negotiate. Say the price before the work. Show up in the window we gave. Leave the place cleaner than we found it. Put the guarantee in writing, every time. Every person on this page operates that way, from Trevor down to Leo. We do not send one crew to the nice neighborhoods and another crew somewhere else. It is the same background-checked, uniformed standard on every job in Dallas, whether we’re replacing a vanity in a Preston Hollow condo or gutting a kitchen in a 1950s rancher in Casa View. The 365-Day Done Right Promise applies to every project, no exceptions, and a real person answers the phone when you call, day or night.
